Search Engine Optimisation | Weboptim
The search engine optimisation process
The first step is to look at how the website currently works. Search engine optimisation can only begin after this. This analysis is quite precisely a website analysis, carried out using Google Analytics. This will show us how our website is being used. A badly managed website - one that users may not be able to navigate - should not be visited until we have corrected this.
Once you've gone through all the stages of building a website and have a usable website, the real work can begin.
The Steps:
1. Definition of keywords
The first very important step in search engine marketing is to identify the right keywords - keyword research. Even determining the number of keywords is not a straightforward task. How many words to choose and on what basis? There is no clear answer to this question because there are many factors involved. Keywords can also be grouped by difficulty (usage). Each word has a frequency of occurrence on the web. For example, for the word "Climate", Google gives 4.6 Million hits, while "Climate Szeged" gives only 138 thousand. Obviously it is much easier to get a good ranking for the latter.
2. Website redesign
Google can decide where to rank your website based partly on the content of your website. An important step in search marketing is to modify the website to meet this criterion. It used to be enough to change a few Meta tags and Title, but nowadays more is needed. After just a few weeks, the results are already visible and positions are improving.
3. Expanding content
In addition to the content of the existing website, it is usually necessary to expand the copywriting to achieve the result. There are two possible solutions. Either the client creates the content or the search engine optimisation company does. The latter of course has a cost.
4. Link building
The number and quality of links to the website is also an important factor for rankings. It is worth getting links to the site that are relevant to the topic, so link to us from a site that has a similar topic to ours.
5. Website analysis - Setting Goals
An important and not negligible element of a search engine marketing project is the continuous analysis of the website. We need to know what activity we can measure on the website at any given moment. A very good tool for this is the system called Google Analytics which contains a number of statistics. Setting a Goal means that the measurement of the URL in question will begin. Goal is the goal that a user reaches a specific point on the website. For example, requesting a quote or making a purchase. These goals can and should be measured.
6. Monitoring - Reports
Proper monitoring and reporting is an important part of any Seo project. Companies that don't report their work are usually not regularly monitoring the progress of the project, so they don't guarantee results.
