Messenger marketing | Weboptim
Messenger is a messaging feature linked to Facebook that has now grown into a separate application. It lets you send free messages to anyone who uses Facebook.
Messengers can now be used not only by individuals to chat with each other, but also by different companies to reach their potential target groups through the app.
There are currently two types of advertising options on Messenger
One of them is like a traditional Facebook ad, which appears in the news feed, with the difference that after clicking the user is not taken to the website or landing page, but to a Messenger opens a conversation with him, because in this case the CTA "Seng Message" or "Send a message" is displayed with subtitles.
This is a good way to target users who are interested in the company and its products or services, but have not yet contacted the company.
The other option is send direct message Messenger to interested parties, which will then be included in their inbox. These are sponsored messages, but they are not strictly traditional advertising methods, which makes them much moremore personal also from.
The main difference with the other Messenger ad types is that you can only send this message to someone who has already contacted the company.
It follows, therefore, that the two types should be use in combination. The first type of advertisement is used to get the user to contact the company, which can then send them various advertisements by private message.
Very important for moderation, because if they receive too many messages of this kind, they will eventually get tired of the constant "harassment" and unsubscribe or even block the site.
This form of advertising allows companies to advertise much more a more personal and valuable relationship with their target audiences. As this type of communication and relationship building is extremely time-consuming, it is worth chatbots to use.
What is a chatbot for?
Chatbots actually do this time-consuming job, chat with the user. Bots are not only able to present a product or service to users, but can also guide the process all the way to the until payment to drain.
Facebook has its own chatbots which can actually interpret what you want and learn from it.
