Conversion optimisation - Increase conversions
What is it?
In internet marketing, conversion rate optimisation, or conversion rate optimisation, is the way to convert a higher percentage of website visitors into customers. The conversion rate (CRO) is the indicator that shows the percentage of visitors to a website who will make a purchase after browsing the website.
The common saying is that "the test of pudding is eating it". In the case of increasing conversion, I would add "as many people as possible should eat the pudding".
Designing a usable website or webshop requires constant changes. When you design your own website, you can only think with your own head and not with the stakeholders, who are the end users. Such arbitrarily designed websites could usually work better. Methods to achieve better functioning are discussed in the following paragraphs.
How?
1) Conversion Increase and Usability Test
There are some usability tests on the internet that can be used to measure the quality of the site you want to test.
2) Asking customers for their opinions, conversion optimisation
Our service allows you to create a questionnaire to find out both positive and negative opinions of your customers.
3) Heat map analysis
With software, you can analyse the areas of your website where visitors' cursors move or are positioned the most. The redder an area is on the heat map, the more users are paying attention to that part of the website. By analysing this, it is possible to design elements of the web page to be ergonomically appropriate for users.
4) Google Website Optimizer
Among many other useful tools, Google also has a website optimiser, which, like the Analytics code, needs to be included in the source code of the website. This service is different from the others in that it can be used to test multiple versions of a website. During testing, the software measures which version of the website has a very high "visitor to customer" ratio. Where it became higher, it appeared to be a better constructed site.
In fact, the rules for making the pudding (in our case, the website or webshop) are set by the crowd (the visitors), so it is important that you use as many of the 4 options listed as possible to achieve the best results.
